Is there any way to ban these spammers here?? The same two names seem to be posting the same crap every day. I delete the posts when I see them, but if there is a way to ban the IP or the username it would make things easier. :p

If banning isn't possible, I'll just keep deleting the posts.

Heya Lil,

Did you delete the messages, or move them to the dungeon? If you move them to the dungeon, I can check to see if they are the same IP and ban it. However, I suspect they will just come back with a new IP the next hour.

The only other solution, is to make applications indirect email only. Seeing as that we have not had any new applications in a long while, that would be fine I think. I already get a crud-load of spam mail, so a new applicant would have to entice one of you, in-game, to email me on their behalf for board access....

Hey all,

I finally had to kill the 'Register' page to prevent the spam-bots form registering 20 usersnames every night. When I get a real applicaiton via the instructions given in this forum, I will enable the registration for that user.
