Yes, xenogears was an incredible game. Well, pretty much everything made by squaresoft in the PS1 era was.

I'm one of the people who liked FF7 over FF8, but that's mainly because I found the Draw system just annoying. \;

Otherwise, I liked the games about the same.

Other favorites are Xenogears, Lunar, Star Ocean, FFT, and Legend of Legaia.
