kitty - i was thinking of coming to vegas on the 6th or 7th of July for a few days before the lads get there.... is this suitable for you guys?
froalith - if i was to fly out of vegas with destination Victoria, Vancouver Island as my destination ... what would be the closest airport or best way to get there?

Victoria airport is the closest and best place. but if you cant get that one vancouver is the next one

i would say yes sadly we wouldnt want some crazy auzzie running loose unaccounted for

ok thats wierd as the flights i was looking at booking have us landing in Vancouver and then getting on a smaller plane to go to Vancouver island. Havnt looked for Alaska to Vancouver yet.

yeah you will probably land in vancouver<larger international air port> then get on a plane for 12 mins to fly to victoria. some airline have direct flights depending where you are coming from but most will route you through vancouver

Vegas Hotel rates for trip

Just in case anyone needed a good hotel rate for Vegas, I got this today in the mail. Excaliber for $22/nite!

Vegas hotels are empty and they are dying for customers! I also got a $42/nite from the Monte Carlo if you are interested!
Granted, they always charge more on Friday & Saturday nites, but these Sun-Thursday rates are DYN-O-MITE!

cant get 42 a night at the carlo .. but 60 isnt bad..
think we staying at Hooters for the fiurst couple of nights then over to the MGM
