Any idea how i set this thing to show just new posts.. im reading all the old ones to see if i have posted or not to only find that I have. I see at the bottom (hehehe.. i said bottom) that there are icons for the, but then all seem to be the same to me

I took a look around, and there does not seem to be a feature to only show new messges. (sorry).

You can of course see the different icons to the left side of a forum, or new message, so that you know which ones are new. On the forum innards, that icon is very tiny.. I plan to bring over the 'new message' artwork this weekend.. That might help a bit.

Also, if you wanted to investigate that feature idea further, just go to www.phpbb.com and check out their forums.

new artwork that is totall different from one icon to the next would be cool... and something VT related would rock too

Don't know if it is a feature, but on one PhPbb board, teh moderater had a word filter he liked to play with.

so if you posted Damn, it would show "I am an idiot." or maybe filter on someone's name and have it say "The greatest loser of all times."

Of course he changed them often, and it didn't affect the message once the filter was removed, but it was a lot of fun

New ICONS, aye!

Agreed... I'll work on getting the VT official icons( suitable for framing .. or wrapping fish...) up today...

Ok .. just getting started.. Man there are a lot of options. Will try to keep pushing through on the artwork...

Once I see all the icons changes that I *can* make, I'll just spend a few hours in photoshop, and see if I can bulk update...

Can somebody make me a 'Guild Logo' icon to replace the 'phpbb' tent logo in the upper left corner? Just make it the same size, and email it to me at urgon@volsungtribe.com .. That would help. Mabye something with our Name, Logo, something fantasy'ish?

What you can do, is if you notice how teh little icon next to the thread icon changes color when there are new messages in a thread - well if you click that you will go to the first unread msg.
