Its been a hard year. I have been back on active duty for 14 months now. Away from my wife and kids for 13 of that. The hardest has been the last few weeks anticipating going home....sitting on my arse, forbidden to go on missions being so short in time, then being told I have been extended another 45 days.
Time passes much more quickly when I am out on missions. December has dragged on. My Birthday, Christmas and being told I have to stay longer in this country.
It has been "you" and these boards that have given me a small tether to sanity. I just wanted to let you know how much it has meant to me and how much you all have meant to me. Thank you for being out there for me. Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah all.
