Update on me.

So here I am, living in houston working for a security company. Pretty big organization and I am getting settled in the routine of things. I am listening to farfs/lil advice and not going so damn gung-ho about everything.

Houston is a huge place, I get shunned now and again when people find out im from Louisiana due to the Hurricane evacuees from New Orleans ruining what was left of the pitiful reputation of Louisiana.

Sadly, I all of my certifcations and licenses do not transfer over from Louisiana. So I have to take about 20 different classes to get caught up to where I was at for Louisiana to work the type of job here in Texas. Plus, I have to become an EMT to have an instructor license. I was a first responder so I know what im doing in the field, but i need 256 hours of hospital time to become an emt here in texas. My sister is a nurse at the Houston City Hospital system and she is opening doors for me that I never could get done by myself. I guess it is reparation to what they done to me 4 years ago. (:x Lil) Ill be here for awhile. The company really likes my resume and are willing to work with me to get the certifications i need to work legally. I am consulting right now at 38$ an hour but when I get fully certified Ill be damn close to a 6 figure salary for the first time in my life.

Hopefully, this goes all the way thru so I can get the 5 year contract.

I dont know when Ill be able to play daoc, due to the fact that my computer is at my apartment in louisiana. Ill try and keep in touch more on the boards.

gotta love that louisiana charm. i think they should hold anything north of lafayette to a different standard than the rest of the state. and remember kids, texas doesn't have a state tax

Yeah, my sister got stranded at work and I had to drive to downtown houston in my bro-in-laws jeep. 6 inch lift with 38 inch tires and i had water coming in the floorboard.
